Our mission
It is an independent international scientific and civil network that was established in 2020 at the initiative of academics and scientific and community institutions in the Arab region and then expanded to other regions of the world. The network is registered with the Lebanese Ministry of Interior and Municipalities as a non-governmental association, with information and information statement No. 911, and its main headquarters is Beirut. The network brings together more than 70 scientific institutions, research centers, and civil associations on one platform with the aim of networking and knowledge exchange for a common understanding of the transformations taking place within Arab societies, leading to proposing various cognitive and applied strategies that approach current and future Arab challenges.

Our goals
- Forming an effective joint scientific networking system concerned with studying Arab societies and anticipating their future between research institutions, civil societies, and public policy makers in the Arab world.
- Achieving knowledge exchange and scientific networking between research institutions, civil societies, and public policy makers in the Arab world.
- Preparing policy papers based on scientific field studies that affect the Arab region and contribute to decision-making regarding the challenges facing its societies now and in the future.
- Strengthening Arab and international partnership and cooperation in the field of publishing and knowledge production about Arab societies through interdisciplinary perspectives.
- Paying attention to women’s issues at the academic and activist levels, promoting women’s empowerment in the Arab world, and bridging academic institutions and civil society actors on gender issues.
- Establishing a qualitative training space for young researchers and civil society activists, as an embodiment of partnership between Arab and international elites.
