The International Network for the Study of Arab Societies and the Arab Thought Forum organized a symposium entitled “Arab Youth and Social Space” on February 17, 2021. The head of the network, Dr. Marise Younis, presented the study she conducted on youth in marginalized Lebanese environments.
The symposium focused on the culture of marginalized youth and their interactions with their economic and social conditions in various private and public spaces, including family, work, school, and the public social space. It touched on the duality of young people in dealing with their identity between youth, national, or group, in connection with the threats they experience at different levels.
